As a teacher, my goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to express themselves and explore new ideas. I believe that every student learns in their own unique way, so I adapt my methods to suit diverse learning styles. I enjoyed this lesson with Safiya. We used a list of questions on the topic "Would You Rather" and had a nice conversation. I appreciated how Safiya told some stories throughout the conversation when certain questions reminded her of her experiences, because the longer stories gave me a chance to practice listening comprehension.

I enjoyed this first lesson with Safiya. She is very kind and nice. It was an introductory lesson so we mainly chatted and she provided ideas for future lessons. I think I will enjoy studying with her.

I enjoyed this lesson with Safiya. She is very flexible and open to doing what the student wants to do. I want to improve my conversation and listening skills, so that is perfect for my goals.
