Kon’nichiwa! I’m Kyoko, your guide to practical Japanese language and culture! Born near Tokyo, I blend authentic Japanese insights with international perspectives. With 20 years in the UK and a background in American/European Studies and Japanese Culture, I help learners understand both language and cultural nuances. In my lessons, you will see slides filled with illustrations. You will also have a lot of opportunities to listen, speak, read and write Japanese, and you will learn how to use practical Japanese.
If you are a total beginner, I am happy to teach Hiragana & Katakana from scratch, step by step. Then, I would recommend you the best textbook from “Minna no Nihongo” or “Irodori” to study with me, according to your needs and wishes.
I can also provide “Survival Japanese for Travel” (usually 3-4 lessons), which will enrich your visit to Japan even more.
For those at an Intermediate level or above, “Let’s read the Bible in Japanese” is available.我的教材
