Hi, I’m Mayu! I’m from Niigata Japan. I’ve traveled to over 20 countries and love learning about different cultures and languages.
In my lessons, I help all levels enjoy speaking Japanese, especially people who want to travel to Japan and actually use what they learn.
I teach 90% in Japanese, but don’t worry! I’ll speak slowly, use gestures, and adjust to your level, so you can relax and enjoy learning☺️
My goal is to help you feel confident using Japanese in real places, like cafes, train stations, or when meeting locals.

Hello! I’m Mayu🌸
I’ve traveled to over 20 countries, and I love meeting people from around the world and sharing Japanese language and culture.
I especially enjoy helping beginners feel more confident speaking Japanese whether it’s for travel, daily life, or just for fun!
My lessons are relaxed and friendly. You don’t need to be perfect mistakes are welcome, and part of the process.

My lessons are focused on real-life conversation.
I adjust to each student’s pace and interests, and I use a lot of simple words, gestures, and casual Japanese to help you feel comfortable.
We often do role plays and practice useful phrases for travel or everyday situations.
If needed, I can explain things in English or a little bit Spanish, but I try to stay in Japanese as much as possible so you get used to thinking in Japanese naturally☺️
My goal is to help you speak more, worry less, and enjoy the process!我的教材

Thanks to Mayu先生 I got the confidence to use a lot of Japanese in my trip to Japan. Before my trip we practiced a lot and did role plays. Mayu先生 always makes me feel comfortable to try and speak Japanese in her lessons and they are lots of fun! She explains things clearly and is very patient, which makes it easy to learn and improve step by step. It motivates me to keep practicing and keep getting better in the language. Mayu sensei is very patient and is willing to accommodate my requests. She has been helping me with phrases and words that may have similar meanings, but used differently, depending on the in situation. With her help, I am feeling more comfortable about speaking when I am in Japan.
