I'm away on holiday from 9-24 August.
I've travelled to more than 40 countries, have had many different jobs, and love to speak about deep and meaningful things, dreams, hopes, love. I am a teacher based in London but have also lived in Melbourne, Australia and in Cape Town, South Africa, so I know how to teach these variants. I love English. I'm very passionate about the language, how it sounds, its expressiveness, its history, how it shapes the world and how it has been shaped by the world. I want to share my passion with you, and I want you to love English as much as I do. I write poetry, I dance and I love to swim.我的教學經歷
I'm TEFL certified, and have taught English as a volunteer in a refugee camp. I believe that the best way to learn a language is through speaking it, and I create lessons around topics that you're interested in. Grammar is absorbed naturally in conversation, I don't believe in memorising grammar rules. I want you to enjoy the process because that keeps you motivated, and I'll be there to challenge you, but also to support you. Lessons are informal, focused on conversation, and at a level that I will adjust to your ability in English. We'll speak about things you are passionate about, topics you might need for study or work or travel, whatever the reason you're learning English. I'll help correct mistakes, but the focus will be on something other than getting it perfect immediately. It's more important to be understood, even if some grammar details still need to be improved. Being comfortable using the language and making mistakes is the way to learn. I'll also help you find resources to immerse yourself in the language outside of lessons.證書
