I am a native Tibetan speaker based in Dharamsala, India, with a passion for teaching colloquial Tibetan to help learners engage in meaningful, real-life conversations. With six years of teaching experience, I specialize in creating an immersive learning environment that combines language instruction with cultural insights, drawing from the rich heritage of Dharamsala. My approach emphasizes practical communication skills while fostering an appreciation for Tibetan traditions. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing the guitar and exploring the musical interplay between Tibetan, Hindi, and English genres. My teaching style moves from TPR for beginners to deep dives into meaningful communication, slipping into English only when someone hits a wall, all while staying grounded in the core of Tibetaness.
