Hello, I’m Kelly.
As a former broadcaster for NHK and other major Japanese networks, I have years of experience reporting, writing, and speaking professionally on camera. I have undergone rigorous training in vocal techniques, including precise pronunciation, pitch accent, intonation, and the "art of the pause."

I am a certified Japanese language teacher with experience supporting children of international backgrounds in Japan. Additionally, I am a qualified Mental Health Social Worker. This background allows me to not only focus on the language but also provide emotional support and create a safe, judgment-free space for your learning. To help you develop a "Japanese brain," my lessons are conducted 95% in Japanese (with 5% simple English for clarification). Every lesson is customized to your specific goals and learning style.

☆Zero-Prep Basics: For N5/N4 and natural daily conversation, I provide all the materials. You can show up empty-handed!
