Gabriela Lopez

Taking conversational classes with Gaby has really supercharged my spanish skills and given me a ton of confidence to speak. She's a very patient and talented teacher, and she knows how to weave grammer and vocabulary lessons and corrections into great conversation. I've been really enjoying studying with her and plan to continue for a long while.

Gabriela is brilliant and lesson are so interesting and engaging. The lessons are also a lot of fun which makes learning so much easier. My progress has improved so much already.

Being that this was a demo lesson, she highlighted some of the ways that she would go about conversations in Spanish. She asked a lot of questions in Spanish, and then if I could not understand, she would assist me until I understood what she was saying; or I would ask for clarification and she would provide clarification. She was willing to slow down if I was struggling to understand what she was saying. In terms of classes, she indicated to me that she offers a conversational Spanish class if I’m interested. All in all, would recommend Gabriela Lopez.

I have found Gabriela to very helpful. She is professional, makes feel comfortable, holds me accountable, and gives me things to work on outside of our appointments, which I love!

I mostly am looking for opportunities to practice casual conversation in order to increase my confidence in speaking Spanish. This class was perfect for that. I enjoyed the opportunity to talk about my family and the challenges of potty training 2 toddlers at the same time. I look forward to another class in the near future.
