Hello, my name is Roman. I’ve been teaching part-time online since 2015 and full-time since February 2019. Apart from teaching online, I've also worked at a bilingual high school in Thailand for a full academic year. I have taught students from over a few dozen countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Brazil, UAE, Saudi Arabia and many others I'm a qualified interpreter in the UK and have an MA in Conference Interpreting from the London Metropolitan University. In 2017-2019 I worked as an interpreter in the medico-legal field in England and Wales. I no longer do interpreting but I frequently work on translation projects (Russian, Lithuanian to Eng).

我的教學經歷

I like to adapt to my students' needs. Even though it does sound like a cliche it's true. I think that teachers have to adapt depending on who they are teaching. If I teach a quiet introvert I will not behave in the same way as when I am teaching a group of energetic teenagers.

我的課程內容與教學風格

My students have described my classroom atmosphere as relaxing yet reassuring. I like to keep 'things real' in the classroom and am not a fan of over the top behaviour and 'edutainment'.
