I have taken 6 lessons with Noboru先生 at JLPT N3 level and am beginning to see concrete progress in 2 ways: 1/ the method is great for learning new Grammar patterns 2/ it really consolidates what I thought I knew but couldn't really use. Noboru先生 encourages you to make your own sentence patterns while you are practicing so that it becomes much more natural to use the grammar during conversation. Noboru先生 also provides written feedback during the conversation part of the lesson. Great stuff!

Hands down best lesson on italki. Noboru is a regular guy with a full time job and he has taken the time to create his own website and teaching materials/method based on his own experiences. I took a 30 minute trial lesson where he explained the structure of his lessons and the reasons behind why he structures them that way. His method is easy to understand and it makes sense. If you take a lesson with Noboru, you will easily see his passion for teaching and how much he stands behind his material. Looking forward to starting regular lessons with Noboru

I just finished my trial lesson with Noboruさん and it definitely won't be my last lesson with him. We discussed the two main concepts, the lesson plan and went over some basic grammar structures. I found the atmosphere to be relaxed and welcoming. I’m looking forward to gradually improving as we progress.

Noboru-sensei is a fantastic Japanese teacher. His lessons are well prepared and all-ready to go from N5 to N1. I've been learning Japanese with him since N5, and am now on N1. He is amazing, patient and worth learning from. He has also written books and has his own YouTube channel. I highly recommend Noboru-sensei.
