Hi! I’m Jorunn, I’m 30 years old and originally from Germany. German is my native language, but I also speak English and Portuguese. I’ve been teaching for three years now and I work fully online, which allows me to live in different places — something I really enjoy! When I’m not teaching, I love cooking, spending time with my dog, and knitting. I enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, and I’m always curious to learn something new.我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I’m open-minded, friendly, and always interested in getting to know my students — their ideas, stories, and perspectives inspire me! I believe that a positive and relaxed learning environment helps students feel comfortable and motivated. Making mistakes is a natural part of learning, and I always encourage my students to see them as opportunities to grow.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are centered around meaningful topics that are great for conversation. Each session includes a set of guiding questions that help us dive into the topic, along with a small grammar focus that fits naturally into the discussion. We practice grammar in real-life contexts, so students can understand when and how to use it in everyday situations. I also encourage students to choose topics that interest them — that way, learning feels relevant and fun!

Ich kann Jorunn nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie ist eine tolle Lehrerin, die eine freundliche und entspannte Lernatmosphäre schafft. Heute haben wir über das Thema Fantasie gesprochen und uns über alles von Kindheitserinnerungen bis hin zu Philosophie und Literatur unterhalten.

Jorunn is a really great teacher and I highly recommend her. She is a consummate professional and her lessons are very useful. She is very engaging but also patient, using slides to which she always adds her own personal touch, thus creating customized materials that are easy and enjoyable to review. She encourages speaking, and the atmosphere in class is always relaxed and fun.

Die Stunde hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Wir haben uns locker über Augenschmerzen, Katzenallergien, improvisierte Musik und kulturelle Unterschiede zwischen Engländern und Deutschen unterhalten.
