Hello! My name is Audra. I am passionate about languages, travel and reading. This passion grew into my profession. I studied languages, traveled a lot; and I am still learning new foreign languages as a hobby. I am excited to share my language skills and teaching experience with serious language learners. Terve! Nimeni on Audra. Pienestä asti olen pitänyt vieraista kielistä. Lapsena opin puhumaan venäjää vaikka äidinkielenä puhun liettuaa. Myöhemmin opiskelin suomea pääaineena Pietarin yliopistossa. I studied Finnish and Russian languages in Russia. I hold Master's in these languages. After my studies, I started to teach Finnish, Lithuanian and Russian languages privately and in group settings. As a teacher, I am patient, understanding and always listen to my students’ needs and wants. My lessons are textbook-structured, meaning I do not lecture during the lesson but rather explain troublesome parts of grammar. This applies especially to beginners because textbooks provide a basic foundation when starting to learn a new language. I supplement my lessons with lots of exercises, materials from the internet or developed by me. With intermediate and advanced students, I prefer to use social media, teach spoken language or prepare them for standardized language tests.

Audra is enthusiastic about teaching Lithuanian! From the firet lesson I was already speaking Lithuanian, and she helped me speak and pronounce words correctly.

Audra is very patient and the way that she teaches allows me to go at my own pace. Lithuanian is not very innate for beginner English speakers and does take some time to comprehend and internalize the intricacies of the new verbiage and conjugation - Audra introduces new concepts in a way that both motivates and builds on what you already know.
