Hi! I’m Ai, a native Japanese speaker currently living in Malaysia after spending 10 years in Tokyo.
In Japan, I worked in sales and marketing for a travel website, and I’ve visited all 47 prefectures as well as over 30 countries. I love sharing the unique charm of Japan’s rural areas, local traditions, and hidden gems that most tourists miss.
I’m also passionate about hiking, architecture, and art, and I enjoy introducing Japanese culture through these perspectives.
Since moving to Malaysia, I’ve been inspired to help others learn Japanese.

Since 2024, I have been teaching Japanese both online and in person. Currently, I mainly teach complete beginners and elementary-level learners.
In my lessons, I focus on grammar as well as how Japanese is actually used in daily life. My goal is to help you understand Japanese and also be able to talk about yourself.
I love learning about different cultures, so I would love to hear about your daily life and things you enjoy.
I conduct lessons mainly in Japanese, but I can support you in English when things are difficult, so beginners are very welcome.
I aim to create a friendly and easy-to-talk atmosphere. Let’s build your confidence step by step in a safe and comfortable environment! 我的課程內容與教學風格
For beginner and elementary learners, I use the Genki textbook and original slides to learn grammar and practice talking about yourself.
Complete beginners start with Hiragana and Katakana, and we also practice verb and adjective conjugations, which many learners find challenging.

・Topic-based free conversation (optional)
・JLPT preparation available
Even if you start from zero, you can learn step by step.
