My name is Kana, your reliable and patient teacher.
I understand the challenging and rewarding of learning languages, that’s why I’m here to support every step of your journey. I don’t just teach you what to say—I teach you effective methods to use it confidently.

•Linguistic background: My major was English literature and linguistics. So I know what methods are effective for learning. I will share tips that helped in my studies.
•Linguistic empathy : With a background in linguistics and experience studying English, Spanish, French, and Korean, I have a deep understanding of how different languages work. While I mainly teach in Japanese and English, my knowledge of these languages helps me understand the specific challenges you face based on your native grammar!
•Real-World Experience: I spent a year in Montreal, Canada. I’ve felt the frustration of not being able to communicate, so I promise a judgment-free space where you can go at your own pace. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In our first class we’ll start by getting to know each other! I want to hear about your life, your interests, and your motivation for learning Japanese. Together, we will set clear goals so you always know exactly what you are working toward.

・Japanese natural conversation( discuss a topic, describe a picture, read out a article etc)

I had a great time discussing my Disney World trip with Kana-sensei! I showed her some of the souvenirs I bought and we talked about some Disney movie titles in Japanese. We then compared the size of Disney World in different countries and discussed different units of measurement. It was fun!
