Hello !
My name is Yves, I am 36 years old and I live Arequipa, Peru. I am originally from Brittany in France where I lived until I was 18 and then afterwards I have had the privilege to study and work abroad for most of my twenties, until I arrived in Peru at the age of 29.
I have been teaching french for 8 years now, and I am passionate about my job. I have had career in Consulting and in Non-profit and I am now fully dedicated to french teaching.
Reading is probably my favorite hobby but I also enjoy learning more languages, watching a great movie and try new restaurants with my wife.

I have been teaching french for 8 years now mostly online but I have had face-to-face classes when I started teaching in various languages school of Barcelona where I used to live.
I teach to all ages, all nationalities and all levels, from A1 to C2. I hold a management degree from the university of Marburg in Germany, as well as the DAEFLE from the Alliance Française, a degree specifically issued to teach french as a foreign language.
Up until now, I have taught more than 5,000 hours and to more than 300 students across the globe. I am passionate about language teaching as I see it as a fantastic door-opener and a bridge builder.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are tailored to the needs of the students but a main structure is important. In my lessons there are 3 pillars 1) Speaking/Conversing 2) Grammar studying and 3) Document study.
In the 1st part, we will converse, chat and have fun with it, even if a full beginner can chat. In the 2nd part, based on the level that I would have identified, we will cover the grammar point based on the CECR reference framework and in the 3rd part, we will study a text, an audio, or a video to make sure all the aspects of language learning are covered.
I have great command of English as I have been living in the US and the UK for many years, which will help full beginners not to feel overwhelmed.我的教材
