Hi, I’m James - a CELTA-certified English teacher from the UK.
Since 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of learners reach their goals, from passing exams to finally speaking English with confidence.
I’m a language learner myself.
I learned Spanish to C1 level, and many others (Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Swedish, Portuguese) to different levels in the past.
I know how frustrating it can be to make mistakes.
I’ll show you how to study smarter, speak confidently, and enjoy the process.
Outside of teaching, I like photography, videography, ambient music, and off-the-beaten-path travel like cycling between cities, finding remote places, and photographing lesser-known places.我的教學經歷
I'm a native English teacher from the UK. I've been teaching since 2017.
I have worked with language learners from around the world achieve a higher level of English, more natural pronunciation, and more confidence to speak.
I have experience in exam prep (FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS) and in fluency coaching, mainly helping speakers of Romance and Slavic languages sound more natural and confident.
With me, you’ll always get honest feedback, clear goals, and lessons that actually help you improve.

That could be passing an exam, improving pronunciation, or speaking more fluently.
I correct your mistakes clearly, explain why they happen, and help you fix them for good, with my own methods that create good habits from common mistakes.
You’ll talk a lot in my lessons, and I’ll guide you with honest feedback and useful tips.
I aim to build a safe and comfortable environment for you.
I encourage you to make mistakes and just speak.
I like my learners to feel safe - in my classroom, there is no judgement whatsoever.

CELTA Level 5 - Cambridge Assessment English - 2019To earn my CELTA, I had to go through intensive training in teaching English to adults, including over 120 hours of coursework and supervised teaching practice.
I learned how to plan effective lessons, teach grammar and vocabulary clearly, and manage different classroom levels, from beginners to advanced levels.
CELTA is one of the most respected English teaching qualifications in the world and allows me to teach in language schools and online with a strong professional foundation.

TEFL 120 hours - tefl.org.uk - 2018To earn my TEFL certificate, I went through and completed 120 hours of training in English teaching methods, lesson planning, grammar, and classroom management.
The course gave me a solid foundation in how to teach English to learners from around the world.
It qualifies me to teach English both online and in language schools, and gave me the tools to design engaging, effective lessons for different levels and goals.
