Hi there! I genuinely love talking with people, and I’m the type of person who can easily start a comfortable conversation even with someone I just met. Living in Korea, I’ve always wanted to share my language and culture by teaching Korean to foreign friends.
My style isn’t about stiff, textbook-style lessons—I prefer creating a cozy, relaxed vibe, like chatting over coffee in a café. Since I’m an F-type (80%) in MBTI, I’m highly empathetic and great at understanding how you feel.

Although I don’t have formal teaching experience yet, I’ve always enjoyed explaining Korean expressions and culture to my foreign friends. I especially love sharing how people really speak in Korea—through everyday emotional expressions..etc. Teaching these things is fun for me, because I also learn so much through those conversations!
I’ve also worked many part-time jobs in customer service when I was younger, so I’m confident in explaining, guiding, and empathizing with others depending on their needs and goals. For me, teaching Korean isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary—it’s about creating an encouraging atmosphere where you feel comfortable to speak. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons focus first and foremost on speaking with confidence. Nobody is perfect at a foreign language from the start, and that’s okay! I believe language grows the more you speak it. That’s why I stay by your side, encouraging you to say what’s on your mind while teaching you the expressions you need—always in a positive way.
Class topics can cover a wide range—K-dramas, daily life, relationships, food, emotional expressions, and more.
For me, a class isn’t just a “class”—it’s an enjoyable conversation. It’s okay to make mistakes, and it’s okay to speak slowly. I’ll always prepare with the heart to cheer you on, and I’ll be right there with you! :)我的教材

My first lesson with Seung Hyeon was absolutely wonderful! He is incredibly friendly and energetic, which made me feel comfortable and excited to learn from the very first minute. It didn't feel like a formal lecture at all; it felt like I was having a natural conversation with a Korean friend. I loved every bit of the lesson. I'm already looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend Seung Hyeon to anyone looking for a fun and friendly Korean teacher!

I highly recommend Seung hyeon! It was such a pleasure meeting him today. He has such a bright and kind personality that any nerves I originally had melted away.
The first half of class was a conversation about our interests. I really like that not only did he prompt me to speak, but he even shared his own thoughts and opinions, which made this feel like a real conversation that I could have with a local. He introduced words that I didn’t know and gave me useful expressions to explain my thoughts.
During the second half of class, we looked at some excerpts from a video game and social media that I had come across recently. I didn’t understand some of the words and he not only explained them, but also gave useful scenarios that they’d be used in.
I ended class feeling so happy. I feel like I’ve learned so much already. I look forward to our next class 😊
