Want to learn Korean but not sure how to start? Don’t worry—I make learning fun and stress-free. My lessons are relaxed and beginner-friendly, with simple conversations and practical expressions you can use right away. I always create a friendly vibe so you feel comfortable and enjoy the process. Even if you’re a complete beginner, I’ll guide you step by step and cheer you on as you gain confidence. Let’s take your first step into Korean together in a fun and easy way! 🎶

- Starting from new reservations, a 10-minute break will be included in 60-minute lessons. (45min, no break time)

I first started teaching Korean to my foreign friends, and that experience showed me where learners often get stuck and how to explain things in a simple way.
📌 If you’re a beginner, we’ll start with Hangul, greetings, and basic grammar. Step by step, you’ll practice making your own sentences and feel your confidence grow.
📌 If you’re intermediate, we’ll learn more grammar and sentence patterns, look at real dialogues, and connect lessons to daily life so new words and expressions feel natural.
📌 If you’re advanced, we’ll go beyond free talk, choose interesting topics, and focus on the real phrases Koreans use every day.

People learn Korean for all kinds of reasons, but what really matters is keeping at it and seeing your own progress.
With beginners, I go step by step through the basics in a friendly, no-rush way. Since I’m also learning English, I get how scary starting a new language can be, so I can relate to your struggles.
For intermediate learners, I help you use what you know in real conversations, making sentences and gaining confidence little by little.
For advanced learners, we skip the random small talk and dive into real topics, picking up the natural words and phrases Koreans actually use.
My goal is simple: help you feel, “I can totally do this!” and keep learning fun.我的教材

A great teacher who can adjust to your level. He's very kind, has a sense of humor and doesn't judge you. He provides you with materials and always corrects your mistakes. He gives you options whether you want to focus more on grammar or more on speaking, which I highly appreciate. Overall I really recommend this teacher.

Great first lesson! I really like the structure Seonghyeon provides through prepared topics, which are all documented in a google doc so that I can easily review all the unknown vocabulary later.
Instead of completely free talking (where convo can sometimes fizzle, or you sometimes end up saying the same things over and over again), it allows me to learn and review new topic-focused vocabulary and expressions (bonus: I get to learn some slang too! which I though was a lot of fun).
It's clear to me that he has experience learning a language from other teachers himself, and is teaching from his own learned experience. Looking forward to our next classes together!

I really enjoyed my class with Teacher Seonghyeon! He explained concepts well, encouraged me to speak on my own, and guided me whenever necessary. He was also cheerful whenever I’d get the concepts right, which gave me more confidence to keep trying. I’m looking forward to my next class with him!😄
