Hi there! My name is Chithra ✨ and I'm a native Tamil speaker from India. Tamil is not just my mother tongue - it's a part of my identity, my culture, and my everyday life. I was born and raised in a Tamil speaking environment, surrounded by beautiful sounds, traditions, and heritage of Tamil Nadu. 🌸

I have completed my Diploma in Elementary Education and have over 7 years of experience teaching Tamil to students from many different countries and backgrounds. Teaching is not just my job - it's my passion. I believe in being passion, supportive and encouraging. so every students feel comfortable and motivated during the lessons. 我的課程內容與教學風格

Great lesson with Chithra! We reviewed the rules we learned for "to have" and learned an additional rule (related to "being sick"). Chithra had me translate many sentences from English to make sure that I understood how to do it. Chithra makes good use of example sentences and does a good job of planning future lessons!

Great lesson with Chithra! We reviewed and corrected the sentences that I translated from English. After that, we continued learning about "I have" and the difference between "I have (a thing)" and "I have (a person)". Chithra asked me many questions to make sure that I understood the concept. Chithra is very positive and upbeat, and happy to go back and review anything I need until I understand and can use the grammar/vocab!

Great lesson with Chithra! We started by checking the sentences that I translated and translating additional sentences. Chithra realized that there were some important concepts that I was struggling with, so we reviewed those. It was good judgement on Chithra's part to review instead of moving to new material, which I thought was the right approach!

Great lesson with Chithra! We reviewed the previous concepts of "have/has" as well as prepositions. We also learned about body parts. Chithra quizzed me to make sure that I was able to make sentences. Chithra does a great job of making sure that I can build sentences using the grammar points that she taught!

Great lesson with Chithra! We started by checking out the sentences that I translated. Chithra helped me fix the mistakes that I made. After that, we learned about the grammar for "to have/to not have". We finished the lesson with a review by making sentences using prepositions and possessive pronouns. Chithra does a good job of making sure that i understand the topics and can use the grammar!
