Hello, I’m Dani, a Korean language instructor. My goal is to help students learn Korean with joy and confidence. I teach with patience, kindness, and genuine care, adapting to each student’s pace, and provide positive feedback to motivate progress. I believe language learning is not just memorizing grammar or vocabulary—it’s about connecting through culture and emotion. My lessons help students speak naturally, experience Korean culture, and enjoy the process of learning. Classes are full of laughter, warm feedback, and meaningful growth. I teach Korean on italki with regular students, and many trial students continue with package lessons after their first class, showing trust and satisfaction. I use Sejong Institute textbooks but also create customized materials for students with specific goals, adapting lessons to their learning style and interests.
I have volunteered as a Korean teacher in Kazakhstan and will soon join another program in Vietnam, creating materials and engaging lesson plans to make Korean learning fun and accessible.

My teaching style is bright, engaging, and full of reactions, making lessons lively and enjoyable. I pay close attention to each student’s needs and adapt my approach to suit their individual learning style. If a student has specific goals or prefers a certain way of learning, I create customized materials tailored to them.
I aim to make learning Korean fun, interactive, and confidence-building. Students can practice speaking naturally, receive warm feedback, and experience steady progress in a supportive environment. I took my first class with 다은 선생님 to improve my speaking skill and practice. I was really impressed by her way of leading the class, making the conversation natural and fun. I definitely would recommend someone to take classes with her to practice speaking. I already have a main teacher, but I will think of booking more lessons with her in the future to help me improve my Korean skills even more.

I really enjoyed the lesson with Dani today. We did role play and lots of reading. I read like a 3-year-old: very slow, and I mixed up letters, and I do not know the numbers. Dani was very passionate and waited for me to finish, and then corrected me. I have new vocabulary. I am looking forward to the next lesson.
