Hello, my name is Maki.
I majored in Japanese at university and studied Japanese language education. I am currently raising children, so I also know a lot about parenting in Japan. I worked for many years in the advertising industry.
I love both domestic and international travel, and my dream is to go on a trip around the world. I have a great love for anime, especially Studio Ghibli.
For intermediate learners, I also offer a special course using YouTube manga videos. In this class, we watch Japanese manga with subtitles and study together. It is recommended for who feel a little bored with ordinary lessons.
I understand some English, but in lessons I use easy Japanese.我的教學經歷

I use the textbook Genki to teach grammar and conversation. For intermediate learners, I offer a course that uses Japanese manga videos as learning materials, so you can enjoy studying grammar and culture together.

Today was my first lesson with Maki sensei, and it was great! She was very patient with me and even when I made mistakes, she corrected me and was very kind. Her personality is exactly like her video, and she is a very bright and bubbly teacher. I will definitely do more lessons with her in the future!

Maki is an amazing teacher! She is so patient with absolute beginners and takes the time to make sure you understand and feel comfortable with the content. She has a clear curriculum and is adaptive to your needs. She is such a friendly and encouraging spirit, I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn or practice Japanese!
