Hi! I’m Minho, a university student in California. I moved from Korea when I was 10, but I visit almost every year, which helped me keep up my Korean naturally. I decided to start teaching on Italki after a great experience learning Japanese with my own teacher, who encouraged me to try teaching myself. I love concerts and traveling — I’m even heading to Japan soon for a 10-day concert trip 😎! 안녕하세요! 저는 캘리포니아에서 대학을 다니고 있는 민호입니다. 열 살 때 한국에서 미국으로 이주했지만, 거의 매년 한국을 방문하면서 자연스럽게 한국어 실력을 유지해 왔습니다. 저는 Italki에서 일본어를 배우던 중 좋은 선생님을 만나고, 그 경험을 통해 저도 가르쳐 보고 싶다는 생각이 들어 시작하게 되었습니다. 저는 콘서트와 여행을 정말 좋아하고, 이번에는 콘서트를 보러 10일 동안 일본에 다녀올 예정입니다 😎! Music of the Week: in the sea - kensuke ushio 💧 This is my first time teaching a language, but I’ve tutored many people during high school! I think it’s amazing that people can learn from anywhere through platforms like this, and I’m excited to gain new experiences :). As a Korean teacher, I’m grateful to stay connected with friends and family in Korea, which helps me keep up with natural language and trends. I can also read and write Korean, so feel free to choose anything you want to prioritize! 이번이 처음으로 언어를 가르치는 것이지만, 고등학교 때 많은 사람들에게 과외를 한 경험이 있습니다! 이렇게 전 세계 사람들이 함께 배울 수 있다는 게 정말 놀랍고, 새로운 경험을 하게 되어 기대됩니다 :). 한국어 선생님으로서 한국의 친구들과 가족들과 계속 연락하며 자연스러운 표현과 최신 유행을 익힐 수 있다는 점에 감사하고 있습니다. 읽기와 쓰기도 가능하니, 배우고 싶은 내용을 언제든지 고르세요!
