I regularly teach Japanese to over 15 learners online and also have experience teaching Japanese in volunteer and language exchange communities.
My lessons focus on practical Japanese, so let's work together to help you speak confidently in real-life situations! If you're looking for a native Japanese conversation partner or need support with your self-study, I'm here to help!
Through our conversations, you'll learn more natural Japanese and new expressions. If you make any mistakes or use awkward phrasing, I’ll gently correct you and suggest more natural alternatives. For beginners / those just starting Japanese:
We'll use Google Slides, GENKI, hiragana/katakana flashcards, etc.
-Learn hiragana, katakana, greetings, self-introduction, and common phrases.
-Study basic vocabulary and grammar.
-Practice conversation using what you've learned.
For those who can read ひらがな and カタカナ, introduce yourself, and form simple sentences:
Lessons are flexible and can go beyond the textbook.
-Have free-flowing conversations on various topics.
-Do timed speeches on a topic.
-Engage in simple pro-con discussions.
-Interpret lines from your favorite shows, anime, manga, or songs.
-I have reading materials for N4, N3, N2.
