My first profession was a photographer, which led me to a career of 23 years as a cameraman and director at Swiss National Television. I have a Swiss certificate in Adult Education, a Bachelor's in Social Work and a Master's in Coaching, plus a Certificate in Teaching German as a second language.
Now at 68 years old, a happy retiree, it is important to me to pass on my love of languages and learning.
As a tour guide, I also enjoy giving personal tours of the beautiful sights of my homeland.我的教學經歷
I am also a big fan of laughter in learning, as I believe that this emotion contributes to sustainable learning.
A special feature of my offer is that, on request and if required, I can also incorporate the Swiss German dialect into the lessons.
As language is considered the key to understanding the culture of a country, I can point out the revealing differences between Swiss German and standard German. As a coach, I'm a good listener as well, and I think it's essential to listen to your clients to know what they are really looking for.

My teaching is relevant to everyday life and meets students where they are in their journey with the new language.
I am a big believer in empowerment and enjoy supporting my students' enthusiasm. It is also important to me to incorporate current events and cultural creations from music, film, and art.
