Hi! My name is Serena, and I’m an English community tutor based in Canada. I speak English with a North American accent, as well as native Chinese and intermediate Japanese. Since I’m currently learning Japanese myself, I understand how challenging it can be to speak a new language with confidence.
I previously worked as a management consultant at a top-tier firm and in corporate strategy, so I can also support students who want to improve their Business English for professional or corporate settings.我的教學經歷
I’m a patient, supportive, and encouraging teacher. I know how frustrating it can be to understand a language but struggle to speak it naturally. My goal is to help you feel more confident, comfortable, and clear when expressing yourself in English. My lessons are flexible and personalized based on your goals. We can do free conversation, topic-based discussions, or focus on Business English, presentations, interviews, or writing. 優しくとても丁寧に教えてくれました。
リスニングはなんとなくでわかりましたが、文法もわからず、単語で聞き返す程度でしたが汲み取ってくれ、一番恐れていたどう伝えたらいいかわからずフリーズにすることはありませんでした。文化の違いやNGなトークテーマを教えてくれたのもとても勉強になった。
