I’m excited to help you improve your Dutch, no matter what level you’re starting from. My main goal is to strengthen your Dutch comprehension, so you can feel more independent and confident in your learning journey. At the same time, I also enjoy guiding students through conversational practice, helping you speak more naturally and comfortably.
Our lessons will always be tailored to your personal goals—whether that’s everyday conversation, travel, work, or deeper language study. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs and keeps learning enjoyable.

I would describe myself as a patient and supportive teacher. During my time as a computer science graduate and now as a software engineer, I’ve spent years explaining complex concepts to younger students and mentoring junior colleagues. These experiences have strengthened my ability to break down difficult topics into clear, simple explanations.
Because of this, I feel confident helping learners with basic to intermediate Dutch grammar, while also guiding you toward greater consistency and confidence in your language use. My lessons focus on improving your Dutch comprehension using real-life materials such as games, news articles, cartoons, memes, and other content you’re likely to encounter in everyday life. This way, you’ll learn Dutch that feels natural and directly useful in your daily activities.
I also cover essential grammar and language concepts, helping you understand how to apply them in both speaking and writing. If you’d like, we can dedicate lessons to conversational practice, where I’ll guide the conversation and point out mistakes.
