Dobrodošel/Dobrodošla! Welcome! My name is Saša. I'm a university graduate, currently working in healthcare. I’m passionate about languages—they’ve helped me connect with people and explore cultures I never would have otherwise.
Apart from Slovenian and English, I am fluent in German and a little less fluent in Spanish. I'm currently working on adding Italian to the list. I truly believe that the limits of our language are the limits of our world.
Like any other Slovenian I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. My hobbies include reading, cooking and gardening.

I'm here to help you practise and improve your Slovenian in a supportive, relaxed way. With 100+ lessons taught, I've developed a feel for adapting to each learner's goals — whether you're working on everyday communication, building confidence, or navigating life in a new country.
I like to bring in cultural context, real-life topics, and idiomatic expressions so the language feels authentic and useful. I offer conversation-based lessons tailored to your goals, interests, and areas you want to improve. I speak clearly and adjust the pace to match your confidence, focusing on practical language you can use in everyday situations.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and encouraging, with plenty of room for mistakes, curiosity, and questions. I believe language learning works best when students feel comfortable, motivated, and can see their progress.

The best teacher of Slovenian you can find. I was looking for someone to improve my speaking skills and I've found one. Earlier I've tried some AI applications, they weren't bad but they can't hold a candle to Saša. With her I better memorize things we discuss and improve my pronunciation (oh, at least I hope so;). Moreover, now I know what "imeti krompir" and a lot of other Slovenian expressions mean. So, if you've found Saša, "imate krompir"!
