Hello and welcome! I'm a passionate Spanish tutor dedicated to making the journey of learning Spanish an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I understand how intimidating it can be to learn a new language, which is why I focus on creating a supportive and patient learning environment where mistakes are not just allowed, they're welcomed as part of the process! My own experiences learning languages have taught me the importance of practical use over tedious theory. my greatest strength is my patience and my ability to explain complex concepts in simple, understandable terms. I am a guide and a facilitator on your language-learning path. My teaching style is 100% practical, interactive, and student-centered. I move away from monotonous grammar drills and instead use a dynamic mix of visual aids, interactive games, and real-life conversation practice. My lessons are structured around clear, achievable objectives for each session. We will use colorful slides for visual learning, play games to reinforce new vocabulary and grammar without pressure, and take quick quizzes to track your progress. The primary focus is always on developing your speaking and listening skills from day one. This was a impressive first class with Jose! The goal for this was to get an idea on my initial level and a feel for his teaching style. Technically-speaking, he had a quality connection/camera/audio, which helps a great deal as I could clearly hear and see him throughout the whole lesson. We went through some initial conversation and then worked through custom slides and materials where he would ask me questions and allow me to respond in Espanol. He would provide subtle corrections in the chat window, and assist if I got caught or stuck. At the end of the class he gave a recap of my current level, areas of strength, and areas for improvement. I was also impressed as throughout our class he was calm, genuine, and curious - and certainly created a safe environment where I felt able to express myself without any fear of failure. He spoke clearly and slowly to help give me the best chance to understand him throughout. Thanks for the excellent lesson Jose, it was a pleasure meeting you.
