My name is Pietro, I'm a CEDILS Certified Italian Teacher and Pronunciation Coach with over 10 years of experience. I've had the pleasure of teaching to students from all around the world. From Japan to the United States, to my time at a prestigious school in the enchanting city of Venice, I've refined my expertise in delivering exceptional Italian classes for both beginners and advanced learners.
I believe that language learning should be stress-free, fun and immersive.
In my classes, we're going to explore Italian grammar while indulging in the delights of Italian food, cinema, and literature.
Together, we'll make Italian an integral part of your life, discovering the richness of its culture and the joy of connecting with its people.
My teaching style focuses on communication and real-life situations. Whether you're a beginner or starting from scratch, I ensure a gradual progression, strengthening your listening and reading skills as we build a solid language foundation.
My lessons prioritize immersion and conversation, with minimal emphasis on grammar. However, I understand the challenges posed by certain grammar concepts and provide clear explanations in English when needed.

TeacherProvided language tutoring to the students of Istituto Venezia, both in classes and one-on-one, to all language levels. Directed the Istituto Venezia's book club.
2012 - 2024
TeacherTutored students of different nationalities leading them from zero to fluency in Italian, helping many of them with finding a job or moving to Italy, by using learning material created by leading publishers or custom made by me. Created a pleasant and relaxing studying environment by blending seamlessly friendly chat and language exercises, so my students would learn while not feeling under the pressure of a learning institution. Helped students to pass language certification tests.

Now I have had three lessons with Pietro. I must say that he is very knowledgable and he explains things very clearly. We have had good conversations, I didn't know I could speak this much Italian! We have done good excersizes, I have learned a lot!

Я занималась с Пьетро несколько месяцев. Результатом очень довольна, прогресс в знаниях очень чувствуется (начинала заниматься с нуля). Особенно нравилось обсуждать на занятиях особенности итальянской культуры и традиций. Однозначно рекомендую этого преподавателя для изучения итальянского!
