Bonjour ! I am a native French speaker and have been joyfully teaching my language and sharing my culture with students from all over the world for 10 years.
I was born, raised, and educated in Paris. Over the past 13 years, I have divided my time between France and various other countries. Currently, I am based in Costa Rica.
I hold two Master's degrees in Business and Public Policies. After working in marketing for Peugeot-Citroën, I transitioned into research at Rio de Janeiro Federal University. Eventually, I followed my passion and became a French teacher.
In my free time, I enjoy surfing, reading, meditating, and engaging in conversations about different cultures and life stories.我的教學經歷
With 10 years of experience, I have been teaching French both as an online tutor and at the Alliance Française.
My unique teaching method, which I have personally developed, has received excellent feedback. I not only teach the language but also provide guidance on effective study techniques.
Known for being supportive, patient, and enthusiastic, I create an environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their doubts and engaging in French conversations.

I've had several French tutoring sessions with Laura and she has been nothing short of fantastic. I like how each of Laura's lesson is a continuation from the last. What I mean by that, is even though you may be doing a new lesson, Laura still incorporates some of the other previous lessons you've done before and will periodically test you in both speech, writing and spelling. Personally I think this is a great way of learning as it cements what you learn to memory and assist you in recalling words and vocabulary until it becomes second nature.
Overall in my opinion, I think Laura has a very well rounded and effective way to teaching French. I wholeheartedly recommend Laura and I look forward to more lessons from her.

Laura's video gives an excellent and accurate account of her approach to French lessons on italki. Returning to the study of French after a lapse of many decades, I am booking conversation lessons with her, and they are going very well indeed.

I study Spanish and French, and Laura is, with a doubt, the best language teacher I've ever had! I've never progressed this quickly with any other teacher before. She's extremely well prepared, dedicated, incredibly kind, and encouraging. She creates a very comfortable environment for the student, and she has a great sense of humor. Learning a new language can, at times, feel frightening and intimidating, and it's vital to have a teacher that can put you at ease and make you laugh, and that's what Laura does for me. If you truly want to become fluent in French, book a class with her today. You won't regret it!
