Sakura-san is a wonderful teacher. I've been taking lessons with her regularly for the past couple of months, and I've been very impressed by how well she has adapted to my current level. I had already been studying Japanese for several months, so I was able to quickly pick up where I had left off with Sakura-san. She quickly identified my weak points, filled in the gaps from my Genki I studies, and has been an excellent teacher to continue through Genki II with. Her explanations are thorough and rigorous while still leaving plenty of room for questions, and she does a great job of making difficult grammar points easy to understand. Overall, I highly recommend Sakura-san to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and adaptable Japanese teacher.

Sakura was very supportive and patient. Her examples are easy to understand. She speaks very clearly and listens attentively. Sakura seems very flexible in helping me work out a study structure that I can easily follow.

Sakura-sensei is kind and engaging. She is quick to adapt to your level of understanding, and pays attention to areas that need improving. Highly recommend!

I have been having lessons with Sakura sensei for about a month or so now, and it’s been really great. She is most helpful, patient and has been great for improving my Japanese. She provides useful feedback on my speaking, vocab and grammar usage, and in a way that builds my confidence in speaking. Elle donne beaucoup de motivation pour apprendre et est d’une grande gentillesse. Je suis bientôt paré pour mon futur voyage et, peut-être, me lancer dans le JLPT N5 à l’avenir !

I just finished my third Free Talk with Sakura sensei, and it’s been immensely fun each time. She is patient, and explains clearly, also using chances when they arise in the course of our conversation to explain various expressions and grammar that helps me to become better at the language. I am looking forward to having many more lessons with her. 😊
