I am a native English speaker from Toronto, Canada. I am trilingual - I speak English, Spanish and Punjabi. I can also understand Urdu and Hindi, but I cannot speak them and I know a little bit of French. I have over 10 years of experience working in accounting in the corporate world. I took a break and moved abroad to Spain where I taught English and was learning Spanish. I now have an intermediate level in Spanish and can hold a conversation. I understand the struggle to learn a new language and moving to a new country. I am back in Canada now and I continue to teach English online. In my free time I like to go indoor rock climbing, read, watch TV, hike, travel, and play board games.我的教學經歷
I taught English online, privately, at an academy and at a a school. I have taught kids from 3-16 and I have worked with adults of all ages. I have experience working with all levels of English from complete beginner to advanced speakers. I have worked with individuals and with groups. I am a calm and kind person; I am very patient and I can adjust my speed of talking. Most of my students have complimented my neutral and clear accent. As a language learner myself, I understand how important it is to get lots of conversation practice. I believe it is a way to advance your level and gain confidence. Practice speaking even if you are making mistakes as long as people understand you. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I determine what level of English you have and then I use slides to teach mainly. Every presentation has a different topic and there will always be a vocabulary component and/or a grammar point. I prefer to let you speak and I will note down errors as you speak. I won't correct every little error as it will impact your confidence, but I will notice patterns and correct you on those as well as identifying common pronunciation problems. I sometimes use games to reinforce grammar. I am also open to using any material you may have. I can cater the lessons to your needs - for example, work, your hobbies and interests, travelling, etc.我的教材

Chartered Professional Accountant - CPA Canada - 2015I earned my professional designation in accounting. I articled for 3 years at an accounting firm while completing the requirements for a CA designation. I successfully passed the final exams in 2014 and obtained my designation as a CA, CPA.
