Hello! I’m Ella, an English Tutor from the West Coast of the U.S. with a B.A in Theatre Arts. My acting training helps me teach clear, natural sounding English—especially for accent reduction and real-life conversations (like job interviews and client meetings). I am like a teaching chameleon: I learn very quickly what style of teaching works best for a student to grow, and then use that! If conversation practice is what you want, I would love to have an engaging chat with you! If you want more structured lessons, I would love to create a custom lesson plan for you. I can come up with new situations for you every week to practice your English, or we can read articles together and I can help your English sound as clear as can be. 2024 - 2025
TutorI taught English on Cambly to a variety of students for one year. I used their teaching materials at first, but quickly discovered that my ear was very good for reducing accents. I used news articles, made voice recordings for my students to listen to, and prepared many learners for interviews and meetings in English.

After-School TeacherI taught four after-school musical theatre classes to elementary students.
