Hi! I’m Carl, a TEFL-certified Dutch and English teacher from Suriname, where both languages are used daily. I help students speak more confidently and naturally in real-life situations.

As a teacher, I like to keep my lessons relaxed, clear, and a little bit fun! Learning Dutch or English should never feel stressful, it should feel like an enjoyable chat that helps you grow. I adapt each lesson to your needs and learning style, whether you want to sound more natural, improve your pronunciation, or just gain confidence. Teacher Carl is very patient. My internet connection was unstable, but he managed the lesson perfectly and helped me through the chat. Even though I wasn't prepared for the lesson, he found a way to maintain the flow. The summary at the end was very helpful
