Hi! I’m Carl, a passionate language teacher from Suriname, where both Dutch and English are part of daily life. I've taken almost 10 lessons with Carl now and feel like my sentences flow a bit better and better every time. He is always patient, encouraging, asking good questions to keep the conversation going, and sharing his own stories. The lessons are fun, engaging, and I will definitely recommend Carl for anyone who wants a conversational teacher!

The teacher always gives examples in class and explains things in a really simple way whenever I don’t understand. The one-hour lesson goes by so fast. At first, I was nervous because I was scared of speaking and not being able to express myself, but I got comfortable quickly because the teacher is very kind and supportive.
