My name is Kevin, I’m from Detroit. I have about every hobby you can try, so I feel like I’m never getting to any of them. My friends joke that I have some story or connection to every subject we talk about. I’ve been a sports photographer, a webmaster, a stand-up comedian, a car salesman, and a robot operator. Really though, I absolutely love teaching, because it’s the ultimate form of learning. I currently tutor private students and I also teach boxing to kids as a volunteer. I can’t get enough of seeing someone use what you taught them in a real situation. 私の名前はケビンです。デトロイト出身です。今まで、スポーツフォトグラファー、コメディアン、車の営業、色々やってきましたが、英語を教える事はとても好きで自分の天職だと感じています。今は個人的に英語を教えたり、子ども達にボランティアでボクシングを教えています。

我的教學經歷

I’ve lived in Japan since 2013 and taught big and small classes, groups for specialized learning, auditoriums for presentation skills, and a lot of online classes during those years. Most of my teaching career has been teaching business-level English to adults, but I do have taught school kids as well. I also have two young sons that I’ve been teaching English since birth. I’m well versed in English grammar and I love conversations. 2013年に日本で、子ども達に英語を教えていました。その後は、ビジネス英語を長い間教えてきました。私自身2人の息子がいて、彼らにも生まれた時から英語を教えています。英語の文法を教えることを得意ですし、誰かと話すことが好きなので、会話のクラスも大好きです。

我的課程內容與教學風格

My goal is to make everyone laugh at least once every day. I think relaxation and comfort are both necessary steps in learning something, because you need to use those as a foundation to focus and drill on more complex materials. Conversation classes are effective for students who have focused on reading and grammar through school, but I also think that workbook and writing practice are necessary. Ultimately it’s up to you, as you won’t study something you don’t feel like doing. 私は、クラスの中で毎回みんなが少なくとも1回は笑ってくれることを目標にしてます。何かを習う時はリラックスすることが上達もは必須です。会話のクラスは、学校で文法や読み書きを学んできた人には適しているますが、英語の学習が初めての人はテキストやライティングの勉強も必須になってきます。でも、全てはあなた次第なので、どんなことを学びたいか話し合っていきましょう。
