I am essentially a complete beginner. I have been learning on my own for 8 weeks, and I am happy to have completed a session today with an actual French speaker. He was very calm and informative and I highly recommend him in the future for beginners!

Adil is an excellent French teacher and I highly recommend him. His lessons are very well-structured and tailored to my level (around A1), which makes it easy to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. What I appreciate most is how he explains concepts clearly and gives practical frameworks like learning verb families that help you progress faster and more efficiently. He doesn’t just teach vocabulary, he teaches you how the language works. Our lessons are always interactive, and he creates a comfortable environment where I feel confident speaking (which as we all know can be very daunting for beginners), even when I make mistakes. I’ve already noticed a big improvement in my understanding and speaking ability after just a few weeks. Adil brings a relaxed and fun persona to the lesson. He has tons of patience and always seems to have an activity at the touch of his fingers to pop up for us to work on.

I frequently get nervous before a lesson, as I'm unsure I've remembered past information correctly, or will know how to formulate sentences properly when speaking, and Adil always reassures me, compliments me on any progress, and is so calm and relaxed that he really helps free my mind of my own self-imposed 'road blocks.' As a teacher myself, I appreciate his positive manner and encouragement. He creates the space for deeper engagement, getting through confusion, and recognizing and correcting my errors with guidance and independence.

Adil is very personable, and makes learning and review fun and relaxed. We discuss other topics as well in a combination of French and English.
