Sawasdee kha! I’m Lilly, and I’m so excited to help you on your Thai language journey!
I know exactly how it feels to learn a new language—it can be a bit overwhelming and even scary to start speaking. That’s why I’m here! My goal is to be more than just a tutor; I want to be your supportive Thai friend who helps you feel comfortable and confident from day one.
In our lessons, there is zero pressure. I believe that making mistakes is actually the fastest way to learn, so my classroom is a safe space where you can try, fail, and laugh along the way. I am a patient and easy-going tutor who believes that the best way to learn Thai is through natural, stress free conversation. In my classes, I focus on your personal interests whether it’s food, travel, or daily life to ensure you learn phrases you can actually use. I provide a safe space where you can make mistakes without judgment and gain confidence at your own pace. I’ll gently help you with pronunciation and tones during our chat, and I always send a summary of new vocabulary after each session to help you review. My lessons are designed to be relaxed and interactive, just like chatting with a friend over coffee. I prioritize 'Natural Acquisition' over boring memorization, tailoring each session to your goals whether it’s daily conversation, travel phrases, or Thai slang. I also encourage you to bring any questions or doubts you find outside of class, and we can explore them together during our session. We will focus on listening and speaking through topics you care about, using engaging materials like pictures or songs. Don't worry about being perfect; my goal is to help you speak Thai naturally and comfortably in real life situations at your own pace!"我的教材
