Hello and welcome to my teacher profile, my name is Richard and I look forward to meeting all language learners. I am a native British teacher, and also speak Russian semi-fluently, having studied at MGIMO and lived in Russia previously for 12 years. I have 15 years of experience working in language schools in the UK and Russia. Most recently 2.5 years at Kaplan International College Bournemouth. I also have 7 years of online teaching experience. In 2020 I completed a PGCE Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Winchester, and I am a TEFL Certified English Language Teacher with over 15 years of TEFL English teaching experience, first in schools and now exclusively online. I have a clear and structured method for teaching English grammar and building fluency. I have studied at Winchester College, MGIMO University, University College London (UCL), University of Winchester, and Bournemouth University. My lessons are tailored to your needs. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 15 years now and so I have courses and lessons planned to help students of all levels and aims. I can help with grammar, reading, writing, and speaking, and this can be achieved in variety of ways depending on what we decide will work best for you. In any case I am happy to help. Richard is a reliable and friendly teacher who can professionally explain nuances and aspects of English. Working with him together we fixed many problems in my speech and writing. We worked together for 6 months in order to improve my language skills for the IELTS exam. He uses very good IELTS preparation materials, which made me feel comfortable when taking the exam. As a result, I successfully improved my overall IELTS score and achieved what I wanted.

Richard's lessons are informative and helpful. He always corrects me and my homework and teachs me complete grammar rules, and helps with my pronunciation. I'm taking lessons since November. See you soon at our next class!
