Hi, I’m Andrew. I’m a native English speaker, ESL and communications coach, and educator living in Mexico. I work mainly with LGBTQ+ creatives and professionals who want to feel confident using English in real life and at work. I’m also a Spanish learner, so I understand how vulnerable it can feel to speak another language. Outside of teaching, I’m a creative and coach, which helps me bring empathy, humor, and curiosity into the classroom. I believe language learning should feel human, supportive, and empowering.

I have a background in higher education and learning design, and I’ve taught and designed courses for universities such as Columbia and Walden. I’m TESOL and TEFL certified and specialize in helping students build confidence, clarity, and fluency. I focus on clear communication, patience, and creating a non-judgmental space where mistakes are part of learning. My goal is to help students feel comfortable expressing their ideas and identity in English.

My lessons are structured but flexible, and always adapted to your level and goals. We work with conversation, vocabulary, and grammar in context, focusing on practical, real-life English. I use a communicative approach, gentle corrective feedback, and coaching techniques to help you speak more naturally. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, my lessons are supportive, inclusive, and designed to help you build confidence step by step.
