Hi! My name is Min.
I’m a native Korean speaker born and raised in Seoul, and I speak clear, standard Seoul Korean.
I provide customized reading materials for each student, using newspapers, short stories, textbooks, and essays depending on your level and goals.
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and helping them feel more comfortable using Korean in real life. I’m especially interested in everyday language, natural expressions, and the cultural details behind how Koreans actually speak.
If you feel nervous about speaking Korean, don’t worry — my lessons are relaxed and friendly, and mistakes are always welcome!我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I focus on making Korean feel approachable and practical.
I have experience explaining Korean language and culture to international learners, and I’m good at breaking things down in a clear, easy way. My background in Korean Studies helps me explain not just what to say, but why Koreans say things the way they do — always in a simple, student-friendly way.

Another enjoyable lesson with Min 쌤! I really appreciate how she tailored our lesson to my goals that I previously shared with her, and that she introduced to me so many new words / expressions that had such beautiful meanings and nuances. I also like how she speaks to me at a normal pace using language that is both pitched at my level, and also above it, because it really forces me to listen (my worst skill right now) and understand the context properly. Learning a language can be difficult and uncomfortable at times, but it helps to have a great teacher☺️ 감사합니다~ 다음에 봐요!

My first lesson with Min 쌤 was great! She meticulously went through several different types of class materials to assess my current level in Korean. Her lesson format also aligns closely with my personal goal, which is to improve my reading skills and expand my vocabulary organically through a (lightly) structured and flexible approach.
