Hi! I'm Asiya, a fluent English and native Bengali speaker currently living in Japan. I have a multicultural background — originally from Bangladesh, grew up in Saudi Arabia, and have been living independently in Japan for 4 years. I understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language in a foreign environment, which makes me a very patient and empathetic teacher. I believe every student learns differently. My teaching style is warm, encouraging and structured. I focus on building confidence first — because when students feel comfortable, they learn faster. I never make students feel embarrassed for making mistakes. Every mistake is a step forward! My lessons are conversational and practical. I focus on real-life situations so students can use what they learn immediately. For beginners, I start with the basics and build gradually. I use simple explanations, repetition, and lots of encouragement to help students progress naturally and confidently.
