My name is Daniel Sadiq and I am deeply interested in language and culture, especially China's. I have been studying Chinese since I was 15 years old. I have also been studying Russian, Spanish, Cantonese and Thai, so I understand the struggles of learning a language. Outside of languages, I enjoy going to the gym, training Taekwondo and Muay Thai, watching K Dramas, learning about economics and playing the accordion. 大家好，我的中文名是郑俊光。我是一名来自英国的英语老师。我对学习语言特别有兴趣，一直学习好几个语言，所以我特别理解学习语言的困难。我希望我能帮你们克服那些困难！ 除了语言学习意外，我喜欢健身，练武术，看韩剧，学经济，弹手风琴。 I have worked as a Chinese speaking teaching assistant and general teaching assistant in an international school in Thailand. My role was to help provide well structured lessons to children and explore academia through the English language. I used a variety of methods such as worksheets, presentations and one to one oral lessons. This has allowed me to fully understand how students respond to different teaching methods and how using different languages whilst teaching helps their understanding of the English language. My lessons will be structured in a way that focus on your oral and comprehension ability. We will generally pre-discuss topics that you are interested in then we will read a short text about your area of interest, we will then discuss new vocabulary, tenses, sentences structures and that appear in them and consolidate them.
