Native Spanish teacher from Madrid, Spain. My students praise me for helping them understand tricky Spanish aspects such as the use of verbs SER and ESTAR, the different past tenses (PRETERITE & IMPERFECT) or the subjunctive mood. My focus is on learners who want to IMPROVE and don’t want to leave their results to unintentional practice and chance. If you still doubt when speaking, I will help you speak with more CONFIDENCE. I use conversation on topics that are meaningful to the learner as the base to understand the structure and usage of the language. What we speak becomes our text book thanks to the notes I take and use to explain every aspect of the language afterwards. I help you internalize Spanish usage and grammar, so you can speak, write and understand Spanish better. My focus is on learners who want to improve their skills and don’t want to leave their results to unintentional practice and chance. I can help with any level. I have developed a method that combines a communicative approach with attention to structure and grammar. I use conversation on topics that are meaningful to the learner as the base to understand the structure and usage of the language. What we speak becomes our text book thanks to the notes I take and use to explain every aspect of the language afterwards.

I feel so lucky that I booked Jorge's class. He is definitely one of the most underestimated teachers on iTalki. The most wonderful about him is that he does not only have a great mastery of grammar but he is very good at explaining and illustrating them. His teaching method, just like his notes, is very clear and organized. In a word, I can't recommend him enough!

Great class, as always! Jorge designs exercises that help target my weaknesses, / that is not easy to do for someone who has a level B2-C1. It is obvious that he spends a lot of time preparing for our class, also that he has much experience teaching, because it seems like he ´gets´why I don´t ´get´certain grammatical points.

Jorge is such a great teacher! he has a way of pointing out the things to improve in a thoughtful and clear way, with a great separation between talking and working out on grammar so I could really learn from it. He also has some great methods to memorize grammer things which are usually hard to remember
