Chinese with Ben

I've been taking lessons with Benfang since October. He is always well prepared for class and brings alot of energy. He uses Chinese the whole time and introduces really useful vocabulary and sentence patterns through normal conversation. We cover alot in each session, but it flies by and I look forward to the next one. In the past, I've always kept my sentences super short as I'm not confident speaking. With Benfang, I feel like I can expand alot more and am able to talk about things using more detail and accuracy. Since each lesson builds on what we did before, it's getting easier to recall and use structures more automatically. I sometimes wish I had contacted Ben earlier. I'm increasingly realizing how targeted learning for the HSK1-3 (and probably all further levels) differs from what is needed in real life. Ben makes each lesson so practical, lively and relaxed that you almost become addicted to more. There's nothing like having someone who understands their profession!

Of course if you’ve seen the you tube videos, you get the very same experience. I feel with his guidance you can achieve any mandarin goals you set your mind to. Thank you very much!!

Had a fantastic lesson with Teacher Ben. Right from the start he will make it easy and comfortable to speak. The way he teaches makes it easy and intuitive to understand. The lesson flows well and you can learn so much from just a single lesson. If you're serious about learning Mandarin easily and effectively I highly recommend trying a class!

An incredibly useful class, today we reviewed a text I wrote, practicing the pronunciation of longer sentences in a fluid and natural way. Ben is teaching me how to break down sentences idiomatically, diligently showing me which parts of the sentence and pinyin to stress so that it sounds natural in Mandarin. Incredible teacher!!
