I’m a big fan of Thai street food and exploring nature, and I bring that same friendly, relaxed energy to our classes. Having taught Thai as a first, second, and foreign language, I understand the specific "pain points" students face—especially when it comes to those tricky tones! Thai TeacherDuring my 4 years at Si Ri Panya International School in Koh Phangan, I gained extensive experience teaching Thai across all levels and backgrounds. I specialized in teaching Thai as a Foreign Language, making the language approachable for international students, as well as Thai as a First Language for native speakers. Beyond the classroom, I served as a Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support and led the school’s Cooking Club. By teaching Thai through the lens of food and culture.
2023 - 2025
Thai TeacherDuring my two years at HeadStart, I taught Thai as a Foreign Language and the "Thai for All" foundation program. I led Year 1–3 Thai clubs using play-based learning and was responsible for orienting new foreign teachers by teaching them essential Thai language and cultural etiquette. This role sharpened my skills in helping international professionals and young learners adapt to Thai culture with ease.

I have taken quite a few classes with Kru Tiya. I have improved my Thai significantly. I learn new material every class. She is very calm, experienced and organized. She provides documents and files for each class. She has been very helpful with vocabulary, useful phrases, and pronunciation in Thai. She speak excellent level of English, which makes it a lot easier to understand the grammatical aspects and sentence structure. If you plan to learn Thai for leisure or work, I highly recommend her classes~~.
