Hi, I’m Fiona, a native Chinese speaker from China. I’ve also studied and lived in Singapore, Canada, and Australia, so I’ve always enjoyed meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’m a curious person and love learning new things, which is also part of why I enjoy teaching. Outside of class, I enjoy traveling, fitness, music, and paying attention to the little details of everyday life. If you like lessons that feel relaxed, personal, and connected to real life, I think we’ll have a lot to talk about.

我的教學經歷

My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and practical. I want you to feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and asking questions, while still making steady progress in a clear and useful way. As a language learner myself, I know how frustrating it can be when you know what you want to say, but can’t say it naturally yet. That’s why I care a lot about helping students feel more at ease and express themselves more clearly in Chinese. I’m friendly and easy to talk to, but I always keep your learning goals in mind. My goal is to help you build real confidence and use Chinese more naturally in everyday life.

我的課程內容與教學風格

If you already know some Chinese: We can focus on helping you speak more naturally through real conversation. We may work on natural phrases, sentence flow, pronunciation, and tones along the way. If you’re a beginner: We can start with pinyin, tones, and survival Mandarin in a relaxed and practical way. We’ll focus on useful everyday topics like introductions, ordering food, directions, shopping, and simple daily conversations. I’ll guide you step by step with lots of repetition and speaking practice, without making the lesson feel stressful. For now, I only teach teens (12+) and adults. Thanks for understanding!
