Shalom! I'm Jacob, a native Hebrew and Yiddish speaker born and raised in Jerusalem. Growing up in the historic neighborhoods of the city, I lived and breathed the ancient traditions where these languages are not just subjects of study, but a way of life. I am passionate about sharing the authentic sound and spirit of Hebrew. whether it's the modern slang of Tel Aviv or the timeless depth of Biblical texts. I also speak English and French fluently, which helps me bridge the gap for learners from all over the world.我的教學經歷
As a Community Tutor, I believe that language is best learned through connection and conversation, not just textbooks. I understand the challenges of learning a new language, so my priority is to create a calm, judgment-free zone where you feel safe to speak. I am very patient and a good listener. My lessons are 100% flexible and tailored to your interests. We can have a casual chat about daily life in Israel, discuss news, or explore Jewish history and culture.
For Hebrew: We can practice modern conversation or read traditional texts together.
For Yiddish: I can introduce you to the folklore, humor, and "Yiddishkeit" that you won't find in standard courses. I love using real-world materials like songs, stories, and articles to keep things interesting. Let's make learning enjoyable!我的教材
