I've had over 70 lessons with Frank. He is a skilled Spanish teacher. I have been an English teacher since 2002 and also work online these days. Because of this, I was incredibly fussy when choosing a partner to help me with my Spanish. Frank has the skills I was looking for: 1. he grades his Spanish perfectly, i.e. I can understand just enough of what he says to achieve full comprehension while still being challenged; and 2. I can be arsed to make all of the lessons because they are engaging and Frank takes all of the initiative, meaning I can relax and concentrate on Spanish (we are also friends now). I have progressed from an unconversational A2 to someone who feels comfortable having a chat for an hour. I have tried over 20 Spanish teachers on italki with a variety of qualifications, experience and fees, and I can say, without reservation, that Frank is the best.

I love the fact that Frank is always in good mood for our classes, it makes a big difference for sure. He also bring ideas and questions in the class that make it look like a chat between two friends, what I think is the best way to practice and keep improving my Spanish.

Frank is the BEST! He is enthusiastic, high energy and creates a relaxed atmosphere, talking about any topic you like. It is as if you are hanging out and chatting with a friend. He does a great job of gently correcting my mistakes so that I can keep improving. I can't say enough good things about Frank!

Another great lesson with Frank. I’ve tried around thirty Spanish teachers on italki and Frank is by far the best. He’s probably the best on italki. He’s been helping me for a few years now and I speak Spanish. I’m now living in South America and I’d be lost but for all of Franks help and encouragement.
