Styx is an amazing teacher and truly a hidden gem on italki. I’ve been trying to learn German for seven years and have completed several courses up to the C1 level. Despite that, I always struggled with speaking fluently and confidently. What makes Styx exceptional is her empathy and her genuine interest in a wide range of topics, including physiology, politics, the environment, and different cultures. Because of this, conversations feel natural and engaging, which removes the pressure of speaking and helps fluency develop organically. She is humble, open-minded, kind, and free of judgment or bias. Our lessons are always enjoyable, time flies by, and they never feel boring or repetitive. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, inspiring, and highly supportive German teacher.
