Hello ! My name is Ailona, I grew up in the UK and spent many years traveling the world as a performer with Cirque du Soleil, living and working in different countries. These experiences helped me understand how languages connect people and how important confidence is when communicating. I’m passionate about travel, culture, cooking, hiking, reading, and meeting people from all walks of life. In my lessons, I create a relaxed, friendly environment where you can learn at your own pace and enjoy the process. I look forward to supporting your language journey! I’m an English–Russian tutor with over 10 years of experience in teaching and translation. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and comfortable using English in real-life situations. My international background has helped me understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to different cultures, so I always aim to create lessons that feel supportive, practical, and enjoyable. I really enjoyed this lesson! My teacher was patient and encouraging she made me feel comfortable to practice. She had great topics to discuss and also shared some sayings that are specific to British culture very useful for everyday life in the UK. Highly recommend! 😊
