My name is Bettina Binder. I was born and live in the beautiful city of Sibiu, in the heart of Transilvania, which you might be familiar with from hearing stories about the famous Dracula :) Most of my family lives in Germany. By visiting them regularly, I got a deep understanding of German culture.
One of the passions that best describes me is volunteering at a local animal rescue center. My volunteering experience has taught me patience, empathy and above all, responsibility. If it were up to me, I would take home all the homeless animals, but I have learned that even the smallest gesture of compassion counts for them, and I encourage everyone to be nice to animals of all kinds.我的教學經歷
I am both a native German and Romanian speaker, as well as a proficient English speaker. Although I was born in Romania, I was raised in a German speaking family and I have a bachelors degree in Modern Applied Languages, German and English major.
For more than ten years I worked as a translator and transcriptionist for different clients on an online platform, offering me the possibility to learn about topics from different fields, inlcuding medical, legal, technology, environment, science and so on. During my university years, I worked as a German tour guide in the summer which gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and show them the most beautiful sights of Sibiu. 我的課程內容與教學風格
During my student years, I tutored children, helping them with their homework in German and English and supporting them in keeping up with the school curriculum. As for private lessons, I do my best to provide constructive feedback after each lesson and my schedule is flexible, suitable for busy students or those with different time zones. I do my best to accommodate everyone's needs and schedule and to make sure we use the time spent together efficiently, using interactive material to improve academic performance and foster independent learning. I like to prepare learning resources tailored to the student's unique learning style, strengths, and weaknesses. I look forward to seeing you!我的教材
